Buffalo Man is the name of the character that appears on most of Jamiroquai’s album covers. Buffalo Man was created before the release of the single When You Gonna Learn in 1992. It was allegedly originally drawn by singer and band leader Jason Kay and looks like a profile of him wearing an Indian buffalo hat. The design is used on every commercial (and non-commercial) release; usually, the symbol is painted without change, but there have been times when Buffalo Man is drawn and stylised to fit the song or album.
